Often when A. has not had a nap (and because she's two) she becomes stubborn like her mama. Often this includes pushing whatever buttons and boundaries she can at the time.
Tonight as P. was cooking in the kitchen she would not stay away from the oven or keep the door open.
A time out in the bedroom resulted (as well as a thrown toy broom down the hall).
She squawked a little and quieted down.
P. went down to check on her about a minute or two later and she was sat cross-legged on the floor.
She looked up at him.
She stood up.
She raised one hand in the air and calmly said...."listen!"
