We did a week trying the 3-day potty training method.
Looking back I'm not sure why I thought this kind of learning would work for A. as she is very much a "give it time and she'll do it herself" kind of girl.
We didn't rush her into her bed and now she climbs into it at night and that is where she prefers to be.
So with potty training- I think the method shocked her and it became very negative despite previously having some very positive interactions around the potty and potty time.
So again we step back. The only waiting we're doing in this regard is to let her decide she's ready when she needs to go and have her do it. Right now she takes off her diaper immediately and still insists on going sitting on the training seat on the big toilet. We got a sign-language potty training dvd she really loves for the signs and music. Hoping she'll get the want to do it a little bit from osmosis. I do feel us pushing her (although not really bad) led to a bit of regression.
Being more relaxed about it seems to fit our family and I'm excited to see how she teaches us through this :)
