Picking Apples

Myself, A. and M. travelled to Edmonton today for a visit with Nana and Poppy. I had to smile as we listened to random songs on the radio driving into the city. "Billy Jean" came on and A.'s chosen mimic was to repeat Mr. Jackson's signature "hee, hee" over and over again :)
It's still humid and warm but at least I hear some thunder outside as I write this! We spent a lot of the early evening outside in my parent's backyard. It was awesome to just sit back with M. and watch A. explore through the eyes of a 2 year old. Crab apple picking and collecting were the order of the day. Followed by eating 3 apples throughout the evening (not of the crab variety but she did sneak a couple of bites of those too...). Hope she doesn't get a sore stomach. Nana can't say no and neither can her tired mommy.
