My husband is rejecting my aging...

My birthday began with A. singing me happy birthday and giving me a little gift from the girls (and a cuddle too!) P. made us french toast and we got ready for our afternoon playdate!
On the way home we picked up these...3-bite doughnuts (32 to be exact).

There are two layers!!!!

We also picked up this and some empanadas from here: (so yummy!)

We sang happy birthday, blew out the candles...

Tried to get some family pictures...

Hey P. what's up with your eye?
Call health link...told to go to emergency.
Drop kids off with my wonderful sister and family...and:

The swelling went from the eye and appeared to go to his ear on the other side of his face...
Still pain elsewhere as this has been a week of P. falling apart apparently. (So thankful I'm still not as old as him ;P)

And P. got to lounge in his gown in a bed with a warmed blanket! He looks happy despite the pain!

We counted down to my un-birthday in the hospital and rejoiced in the fact I was still 30.
P. sent home at 2AM with nothing serious.
This morning we went to see Elmo in grouchland at the movie theatre and are now home relaxing, eating the rest of the doughnuts and looking forward to some empanadas!
Just another day in the Menaldo household :)
